Hi, lovelies! See, I was looking through posts and pictures with ombred hair for a long time. I like this kind of messy, unfinished effect, almost sloppy, but sexy at the same time. First time I saw this look on Syd from The Daybook, and I loved it. It made her look that much more individual and cute! Not that she wasn't before, but...
I actually never dyed my hair before. Not even highlights or colored henna! So,you can understand my anxiety and worry. My hair is not the thickest and strongest one, so I am scared to death that I can really ruin it. But this lady, who craves for changes, that sits inside of my head, whispers "Oh, c'mon! You are not bleaching ALL OF IT. Those are only the ends. You can cut them off, if you don't like it..." I still realize that it will damage my hair, but I really want to give it a try! Doesn't it look cute, even with the short hair, as Alexa Chung has?
I picked her as an example, because I have similar hairstyle and hair length as she does. So it is easier for me to picture myself with ombred hair.
So, I bought a bleach. A lady in the drug store recommended a fairly good and not expensive Polish product Joanna Super Blond:
I am going to give it a try today. I am really nervous... So, guys, if you don;t see me posting any personal pictures for a month or so, just know that my ombre-ing went wrong or I am really sad with the results! Hahah... Wish me luck!
Have you tried anything like this? are you content with the results? Tell me your opinion, lovelies!
xoxo

I think that look would be adorable on you! If I was you, however, I'd let a salon stylist do it because it's such a tricky look. That's just my cautious mind, though, but best of luck to you! xo
ReplyDeleteyay! You will look so cute :)
ReplyDeleteI used the have the ombre look, (well as ombre as Asian hair could be) and it was fun! It was a couple years ago and I'm thinking that after my wedding next month I will try it again!
