Raining on my parade

It has been raining for 2 weeks now... And you know what? I LOVE it! The raibe brings me peace and rest from the summer rush. Little raindrops on the window make me smile. Little ones on my skin make me shiver and pull the jacket tighter around myself. I love it when I don't need to search for a place to get cold, but rather make myself tea and pull the blanket on to get warm and comfortable. I am totally a spring-early-autumn person.

Drama Queen

That was the night when I went to the closing-season play at the local drama theatre. It was a lovely absurd comedy, a bit sad but life-asserting.

The leather skirt was thrifted in winter along with the pink top with roses. I think they've made a great combination with golden accessories.

And this was a hat my father bought for himself to wear at our country house. I couldn't pass by without wearing it for a few  fun shots! :)

Ellie

I accidentally found this small country pavement road and instantly remembered the Wizard of Oz story. So, this time I was little Ellie heading towards the Emerald City. With all adventures and fun attached! :)  P.S. Loved this story in the childhood!
I am wearing my mom's old maxi dress. They might be so right when they say the fashion goes in circles! :)

Crossroads

Have you ever felt like you are standing at the crossroads for a long time: you know you have to decide which way to go, but you cannot force yourself to make that life-defying selection? For the nth time I am reassured that decisions have to be made, but they are almost never a simple ones... Like when  you choose what to do with your life. Like when you are 20, but still feel like you are 17-year-old dreamer with her head over the clouds and no decision made "just yet." It feels like the whole world is watching you with the silent expectation on their faces, waiting for your next move, but you are so stunned by such attention that you simply cannot make a step.

Dark Flower

Today was a rainy and windy day. Which, honestly, made me smile a whole lot. I get tired of summer hotness very fast. I am a sping person. So this week is my time. It's chilly and windy! Yay! (Sorry, summer people!) 

My outfit in grey and black was an equal response to a stormy weather. So was my make up. I caught a few amazed gazes on my face today... So maybe I "stormed" my face too much for the daily make-up, ha? :D Nevertheless, I love smokey eyes.

A purple flower was called to be a colorful (well, more or less colorful) spot on the overall darkness of these clothes.

Accessories were in my fave silver shades. Yumm! The key necklace I made myself buying a key and a string in a specialized shop. I love it! I would spend all my money there!

 

P.S. Yes, my hair looks wierd! I know! :D

Donna Karan Resort 2012 Lookbook

Clear lines, 4 colors, taste and fashion. There is not much words needed for this lookbook. Better see this once than talk for hours. As for the red dresses - I don't remember the last time I enjoyed a simple elegant dress this much!
