I have been always told that my grandma who passed away when I was only 2 years old jutst love to saw and do crafts. Groing up I felt that itch to make something myself. I loved painting, sawing little clothes for my doll army (smile), or attempting to make paper applications of Christmas decorations. It has been in me since the minute I received my DNA in mommy's belly... And I feel grateful for that gift, but at the same time there is a lot of sadness that there is noone around who could teach me to use this gift right.
Recently I bought myself a sewing machine hoping for it to be my helper in my first attempts of making my imagination to become reality. I found myself a few helpers: Pinterest, StumbleUpon, and a few YouTube tutorials. One channel I find especially entertaining and easy to understand. There is a girl GiannyL who doesn't say a word in her video tutorials, but makes her every move perfectly clear and fun. See for yourself
I know, measuring your new clothes by putting your old clothes to the fabric seams a little amateur... but that's really who I am in sewing right now. So, no problemo! :)
